Amanda Botur, MAOM, L.Ac., graduated from the International Institute
of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe, NM in December 2000. After receiving
her Masters in Oriental Medicine she worked in private practice
and as a veterinary acupuncturist for 3 years in Santa Fe, NM.
She has a very diverse practice incorporating and combining many
different healing modalities. The primary modalities she uses
in her practice are Acupuncture,
Chinese Herbal Therapies and Homeopathy.
For the last 6 years she has studied under the auspices of several
Native American teachers and healers, and also incorporates much
of that specialized learning and wisdom into her practice. She
is currently furthering her training in ‘Classical Homeopathy’
at the Colorado Institute of Classical Homeopathy in Boulder,
Colorado.
Amanda has a diverse clientele, from four-legged
to two. She treats humans and critters with the same principle
of holism, and with unique and dedicated care. Amanda has worked,
taught and lectured in New Mexico, Colorado and Wyoming, on a
variety of topics, and has guided many animal guardians to a more
whole and successful relationship with their animals. She has
worked with critters of all kinds, and has been guided and taught
by all of them.
Amanda has a private practice in Jackson, Pinedale and Lander,
Wyoming. In addition, she maintains a telephone consultation service
for her out-of-state clients. She also gives lectures
